Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5, "we walk by faith, not by sight."

Our sojourn through life begins at the moment of our conception.  We attend church and study the Word of God when we are young because of the influence and training of our parents (2 Ti. 1:5, Prov. 22:6).

 

Yet there is a time when we leave childhood behind and step into the role of adulthood (1 Cor. 13:11).  We step up into the role of parent and spouse and leader or helper.  That can be scary and overwhelming.

In our journey through life on Earth God walks with us.  Life is a marathon with the finish line being alongside our God in heaven.
